I said about bott-conjugal roles, Parsons-expressive and instrumental leaders, and young and Wilmot symmetrical family. I also said how class and ethnicity can effect division of labour

Isn't it usually 70% for a b?

No-one mentioned Edgell or Hardill or gender scripts on the first essay?

Another example of why AQA is such s**t exam board. Constantly trying to catch you out with questions you would've thought unlikely. I don't understand the logic is putting on question which has already been asked the year before. So f**king irritated with this joke of an exam board.

Remember it was only 39/60 in January for an A so there's still hope for us!

2. NHS, higher living standards, more sanitation ( write 3 to be sure)
3. Rise in feminist rights, secularisation, more socially acceptable.
4. This one was horrible. I wrote feminization of the economy/ crisis of masculinity has affected the division of labour. Write how wealth(?) affects if a woman can stay at home or not. Wanted to write about gender-role socialisation but didn't have time. Went so off-topic! Evaluated with feminist and new right theories .
5. Only write 2 pages for this, ran out of time. All I did was first paragraph what Murdock and parsons functions were and the last paragraph about Marxist/ feminists ideas :frown: it was so basic

Did anyone write anything similar?
Also question 2&3 I write in bullet point form is that ok? And I didn't mention anything from 2B is that bad?!?!

Oakley does - you say that this reinforces the idea of power relationships, messaging that women are forced into subservience!
DV does - it's a consequence of phallocracy in society and families

Yh for the last question I did the same but referred to the item exactly 3 times. For the first question I wrote similar to you apart from NHS because I'm sure that or improvement of healthcare was included in the item. For the third one I did the same but had one that it is cheap...should have mentioned stigmatisation. Yeah if you wrote it in bullet form it's okay because the examiner will mark you on making the point but if you haven't elaborated the point then they won't...hope that helps:smile:

It does,it's the feminist perspective. They believe there isn't equal division of labour. Think it counts as AO2
