Biology is also really content heavy, and I find it really difficult to actually work out what the question wants as an answer :s-smilie:

It's currently Chemistry I'm most comfortable with  although my English Literature is on the same day! Been so unlucky with the exam draw

same, and the lit paper after that is on the same day as the physics which has the most topics of all -.-

19th!!!!!!!!!!!! But after, school has ever so kindly offered us compulsory lessons for the next three days... including a lecture on how to dress (please, i don't need to know what a skirt is) but the next day shall be interesting ! with a trip to alton towers! so not to shabby  do you guys have any other arrangements
?

Quantitative finance is where it's at :colone: I wouldn't really be interested in IBD front office etc

It is a really boring job, true but you can meet very ambitious people who will eventually be considerably wealthy (read: potential investors). Also, the hours will definitely instill a solid work ethic
Anyone doing the IGCSE physics paper 1 tomorrow, if you want to ask anything or just talk about content, please pm me. I like the revision

Perhaps, but as a "mathematician" I'd probably want something at least slightly related to my degree

Plus I'm not really the most outgoing type of person. Not to say I'm socially inept, but aggressiveness isn't exactly one of my strongest traits. I'd probably fit the quant role a lot better.

11th July Prom
12th-14th July - Wakestock Festival
17th -26th July (around about) - Italy
Also fitting in an allnighter with people
I think you can get a quant job with an MSc in Financial Maths or something... Maths and Physics PhDs getting all the jobs happened like 10 years ago when there weren't specialised courses like that!

EDIT: Ah yes, office politics :colonhash: can't stand bs like that

To be fair, that vast majority of people in IB are actually nerds who know how to interview well. Quants are simply gods though, the amount shear intelligence required to be one is immense!

Also, IBD gets you the models AND the bottles

Wow, impressive. Are they mainly offline or do they have an online presence as well? If they continue to grow, who knows the dawn of the Aurororaes will soon be upon us.
