It is a really boring job, true but you can meet very ambitious people who will eventually be considerably wealthy (read: potential investors). Also, the hours will definitely instill a solid work ethic

19th!!!!!!!!!!!! But after, school has ever so kindly offered us compulsory lessons for the next three days... including a lecture on how to dress (please, i don't need to know what a skirt is) but the next day shall be interesting ! with a trip to alton towers! so not to shabby do you guys have any other arrangements

Perhaps, but as a "mathematician" I'd probably want something at least slightly related to my degree

Plus I'm not really the most outgoing type of person. Not to say I'm socially inept, but aggressiveness isn't exactly one of my strongest traits. I'd probably fit the quant role a lot better.

To be fair, that vast majority of people in IB are actually nerds who know how to interview well. Quants are simply gods though, the amount shear intelligence required to be one is immense!

Also, IBD gets you the models AND the bottles
