Need help for my english ;/

So I'm retaking my English Language and Literature ELLB1F(Specification B) and I got a REALLY low C, just got in, and I want to get a HIGH B, the coursework, I have no idea what I got, so I don't want to rely on it too much. Does anyone do this? AQA. Exam is on 17th May.

I really need help, how do you guys revise English? Cuz I have NO idea. Please in need for some serious help. Thank you.

Hey, I think I've found someone on here studying for the same exam!

Are you doing the Food Anthology?

I just make notes, and lots of them. I'm working on a work document for every text in the anthology, a paragraph for audience and purpose, one for structure and one for language so my notes aren't as messy as when I'm jotting them down next to the text.

I did that exam last year and got a D then I did it again and got a B. the funny thing is no one believed i'd get a better grade and I didn't even revise the anthology, because as you know, its LONG. what I did was, I went on the AQA website and read what the examiners expect to see in your answers because they are the ones who are marking your work. it turned out that the examiners actually see everyone write the same type of essay which tends to be boring and predictable. and the type of essays they were describing which were rubbish, were the type of essays I wrote. it was very difficult, but I read the mark scheme for the desired grade I wanted which was actually a B, and I made sure that I hit all of the points so that I could get the grade. but honestly, its and English anthology, and theres only soo much you can do with it and revising for English is difficult. you're better off reading the mark schemes and examiners notes, then working from there on. I hope this helps
Finally, someone doing the same anthology as me!
I'm not sure how to answer the 1st question (we've done almost nothing in lessons), and I don't know how to structure the second!
I'm making a powerpoint slide with all the stuff I think I need... but I'm just going to have to revise all the texts CONSTANTLY until Friday, making extra notes and trying to memorise etc

What does PROBAB mean? We haven't really been taught how to structure it properly :/ it's bit of a nightmare.

I've only done one for the first text as I've been revising for law and I had that exam today.

I'll try to work on more of them tonight and get them to you for Thursday morning. What do you mean by 'send', I've only had an account on here for a couple of days and I don't know whether you mean by email or?

So I got one of my courseworks, and I got a 32/40. I'm SO happy, the exam is on the other hand... Damn. I just printed out the mark schemes today, so I'm reading that in a bit.

I'd say the same structure for both, the only difference is that you haven't seen one pair of texts, the mark scheme is I think the same, the difference being that one has indicative content...
Did anyone else hate those questions? Or is it just me? :L
