Explain transport in plants??? what would be the 6 marks?
Good luck everyone!

I got 45/60 in the Specimen

I'm doubting that Kidneys/Dialysis or even Biogas Generators will be the 6 mark question, the specimen had a large chunk of questions of generators which leads me to think they're unlikely to ask it again?

I have a feeling it's going to be about drinks or ventilation as it was barely in the specimen paper, but then again in b2, the 6 mark was on the specimen, aqa are tricky haha.

Regarding the poll on 6 marks, does anyone have points so I can memorise along with the tsr community

Doubt it would be on this but the spec says

"analyse and evaluate the conditions that affect water loss in plants"
Wait does the specimen paper have grade boundaries?

Ok so it says that 36/60 is an A* and 31/60 is an A. Bit suspicously low in my opinion :s-smilie:

The mark scheme was ridiculous to be honest, but I still managed a 50

What are you even meant to talk about concerning sports drinks?..... They have water, sugar, ions that replace the ones lost in sweat and through using muscles....is that it?.... idk:s-smilie:

They may give you a text and you may be asked to evaluate different sports drinks..? I do not think they'll give a 6 mark question on sports drinks. I think it will either be on: Biofuels, the kidneys, or the heart.

The potometer experiment measures the rate of transpiration. That would be an extremely likely experiment if they were to give one.

Just need to know pros and cons of artificial blood.

No need to know about biogenesis, its not in the spec

Artificial blood - yes.
Biogenesis - never saw it in my textbook. I do not think so.

Biogenesis was in the old spec not the new one. So, you don't need to know it.
