"Man dies after ‘sex with hornet nest’"

A man so bloated that a neighbour who saw his body on a lawn mistook it for a whale carcass was stung to death by hornets after apparently trying to have sex with their nest.

The 35-year-old, known as Hasse, was found unconscious after his reportedly stinging sex session.

The apparently misguided man died an hour after he was located on his farm in Ystad, Sweden.
A neighbour said he looked like a beached whale, due to the inflammation caused by the stings.

Following an autopsy that revealed Hasse had 146 stings on his body 54 of those on his genitals authorities came to the conclusion he tried to have sex with the hornets’ nest.

Police are said to have found semen and the deceased man’s pubic hair on a few of the dead insects and at the opening of the nest.

Unsurprisingly, the reports of the unfortunate event did not go down well with animal rights campaigners, who expressed concern for the hornets.

Isn't that what you would call Natural Selection?

This is pun worthy, let me take a shot:

"I guess he was trying to put the horn back in hornets".

Does this work as a pun? Notes, feedback, criticisms? I only spent 30 secs thinking this one up...

you probably shouldn't have admitted that.
He must've been desperate after his wife flew the nest
