When did Crooks last come up for OMAM (higher)? I can't find any past papers with him in, but everyone seems to think that Slim and Curley are the most likely characters to appear
I've posted my notes - have a look at my discussions "Olympiad of mice and men notes"

Hey this may sound a little silly, but do you need to include page numbers in reference to quotes you include in answers?
I've always been under the impression it is not necessary (I also feel it interrupts the fluency of an essay) but as I have my exam on monday I want to be sure!

Quick, dumb question here: would you capitalise the 'w' in Curley's wife? I thought maybe I should because it's sortof her actual name in the book.
For section B in the exam, each question is split into parts a) and b) -e.g. for Of Mice and Men. Thus, does anyone know whether we're supposed answer the two questions separately or can we merge the two parts together and answer it as one whole piece?

I've been told by my teacher that answering the two questions separately is a much, much better approach

How much time do you recommend you should allocate to each part of that question?

For those who are doing An Inspector Calls, I have a few questions.

Could anyone highlight some points about gerald croft as a character?

What points should I include in an introduction eg with the context of the play?

Which characters are most likely to appear in the question?

Aren't Curley and Slim minor characters though? Isn't it more likely that Candy will appear?

Has anyone got past exam questions on An Inspector Calls and OMAN??

If you go to the Wjec website and go under past papers it gives you the units which you get in the exam. For example unit one would be on OMAM and Poetry.

Gerald is higher classed than the Birling's, so the advantage of this, is that Mr birling can make his business more successful. His attitudes of the complacency of the classes are capitalist, unlike inspector who Is an socialist. I guess make sure you refer to the historical and social context, e.g. the titanic, ww1. and I think that Sheila or Eric would be most likely to appear in the question, as they are the only characters who's attitude changes.
I don't think Gerald is going to come up, as he has previously come before.
Which character is going to be most likely to come up for the Crucible?

A setting question has previously been set. There was one about the bunkhouse.
