I put 27 too :s-smilie:

Yeah, you just worked out the probability, and then the mean, which would be the expected result (27)

Wow. I might have got a probability question right for once O_O

For the last part of the auction house question, did people get the answer as 27 (out of 40)?
I literally had no idea what I was doing

I got that

What did people put for the last couple of questions for 4. Like calculate the least squares regression line ?
I got y = 0.6 + x
But I'm not sure I'm right because I just used a random formula from the booklet because I haven't come across anything like it before :/
Unofficial Mark Scheme anyone?

So the exam wasn't too bad eh.

I definitely got the same as you for the last one but I can't remember anything else

I'm one of those people who delete everything (involuntarily) on the ol' noggin after the exam's over, but that answer seems familiar to me too.

I think it was the 'b' part of the prob question.

Im not sure on the exact value but for the second to last i used variance/n

and for the last i only did it normally so like P(X>25) for variance.

I have no idea if that makes sense or not but it might be wrong because people are talking about ^10 :L I cant really remember the question properly either :/ sorry!

The probability was 0.85-0.175 i think
and then you times that number by 40 and you get 27 i think

yea I used (σ/√n) - same thing

for the last one I divided the answer on my calc by 10 for some weird reason.

If you're confident you got full marks on everything else then that's still effing amazing! I'd be lucky if I got a B

Terrible paper. Hope grade boundaries drop to 57 like some previous years.
