Differential Equation - Number Theory extension

Hi guys,

Question is above. I've solved the difference equation fine - I am however stumped on the last part.

It's quite strange to find something that resembles number theory in a DE question! Any ideas on what to do is appreciated.

Since it says "hence", it's going to be dependent on the first part. What was the solution to the first part?
