Quantum is another chapter.

Is quantum stuff like the photo-electric effect?

Sleep is no option for me either.... I'm pretty much trying to learn this in 24 hours too

been over a year since I've done this stuff

Cheers lads, so what else comes under quantum physics? The only things that stick in my mind are the photo-electric effect and wave-particle duality.

Quantum phenomena------ 1) Photo electricity, 2) More about photo electricity, 3) collision of electrons with atoms, 4) Energy levels in atoms, 5) energy level in spectra, 6) wave particle duality. That is it!
Jokes-----------1) An elderly couple sat in a church service,
the wife
turns round to her husband and says '' I have just done a silent fart, i hope
no-one smells it''
her husband replies '' turn your hearing aid
on''

2) There was a blonde a brunette and a redhead. They were in the
church and noticed a pool of water. They asked the priest what the water was for
and the priest said ''go do something bad and come back''
So they did and
came back the next day and they asked the priest why they had to do that. The
priest answered ''When you do something bad,.... You come to the holy water and
drink it to be forgiven and clean'
the redhead said ''well I Ran over a cat''
and then drank the holy water. The brunette said ''i robbed a bank'' and then
drank the holy water. The blonde stared at them and The priest asked ''what Bad
deed did you do?'' and The blonde said ''i Peed in the holy water''

A single proton has a rest mass of 1.67x10^-27kg. I do not know what do you mean by SI and relative. You only need to know the mass in kg for physics AS-level AQA unit 1.

relative units just make it easier to refer to...

like the charge on electrons and protons are -1.6 x 10-19 & +1.6 x 1019 but relative to each other you can say the charges are -1 & +1

All units are just relative measurements really to a particular scale, SI units are like the standard units used.
Bye everyone and have a really good night sleep!!!:aetsch:

Bye

I guess sleep must be conserved, I must get off student room aha
I think I'm trying to do the same as most of you! Trying to cram all revision in this weekend, still up revising at 3am....
What are your weak points? Mine is definitely the 6 mark questions and some electricity!
I'm hoping to get around 104 UMS.

Find the current through Z.
Reply 339
Find the resistance of the voltmeter.

These are harder circuit questions to help you btw, I can do em
