¿Cómo has podido aprender a hablar todas estas lenguas?

So the subjunctive (subjonctif) is a mood

Now, we use it to express:
Doubt
Possibility
Emotion
Desire
After certain phrases (normally found after que phrases)

Eg

J'avais douté qu'il ait vu....
Bien que je sache...
Malgré le fait que vous veuillez...
Il est possible que nous pensions...

Etc

Merci!

But what are those phrases in English? Also is there anywhere that I can find an explanation of how to conjugate it?

I edited above.

Bien que = although
Malgré le fait que.... = Despite the fact that...

Il faut que = one must / it is necessary that...

Any questions? In Italian the subjunctive is used a lot more:smile:

Now, see, in German, if you wanted to make trousersnake into a word with 'Hose' and 'Schlange', you'd at the very least have to obey the compound word rule of not putting a space in between them. You'd also have to add an 'n' to Hose, giving 'die Hosenschlange'.
