"How does Adichie use the purple hibiscus ( a ****ing flower) to present ideas about personal and political rebellion!!!"

I had a panic attack in there and the invigilator had to calm me down.
A ****ing flower! The ****ing question was on a flower i knew nothing about!! I am so so so upset. :frown:

I know the answer was

whatever you answer for previous question divided by (6/44) then that had to be divided by 100 to make it KJ .. I got something like 1085.7 KJ

Bloody joke! Im not even kidding, the idea behind the flower is that is changes from red to purple. I couldnt even formulate any other idea other than that because it threw me back so much. :/
I had to read the question 5 times to actually comprehend that they wanted me to write about a flower!

I feel for you, it must be hard analysing two books for an exam

How were the Literature exams people? (If you're permitted to talk about them) I liked the AQA questions but I wish I wrote more, screw AQA's timing!

Absolute gift of a question on The Tempest about sympathising with Caliban and my short stories question was okay but the poetry passage question was on a horrible poem :frown: overall I think it was okay though:smile: (CIE)

I don't think I even answered the question. :frown: It was too difficult to link the idea of the hibiscus and rebellions. :/

She thought it was an afternoon exam. Her mum and her went to a cafe beforehand before the exam, so no one answered the house phones... And mobile number didn't work because battery died...

She was tearing up and was on the verge of breaking down, felt so bad :frown:
