So...you're complaining you knew nothing about the flower for which the book was named? :holmes:

I find that quite weird too tbh, surely that's one of the first things you'd want to learn? What exactly the book title symbolises...

Absolute gift of a question on The Tempest about sympathising with Caliban and my short stories question was okay but the poetry passage question was on a horrible poem :frown: overall I think it was okay though:smile: (CIE)

That's good then

I don't think I even answered the question. :frown: It was too difficult to link the idea of the hibiscus and rebellions. :/

:frown: Thinking about it, a flower is sort of limited...how did others in your class find it?

She thought it was an afternoon exam. Her mum and her went to a cafe beforehand before the exam, so no one answered the house phones... And mobile number didn't work because battery died...

She was tearing up and was on the verge of breaking down, felt so bad :frown:

Oh...now that is horrible, poor girl! Don't even know what I would do in that situation :frown:

I'd probably be devastated in that situation, but when you really think about it, no A-level exams in January means you're completely free to just take it in January :holmes: unless they abolished Jan exams for GCSEs too? Though I don't think they did.

Depends on the exam board.

For Edexcel, you can find the closest centre(s) here:

Maths: http://batchgeo.com/map/0929b2308a8ff78f425347cdb9e69918
English: http://batchgeo.com/map/dc5240fe79bacfa17d931f42b4a48f6b

Just type your postcode in the little search box there.

Thanks a lot

We did brief stuff on it and it wasn't linked to personal/ political rebellion! :/
