i know nothing on ghazal :frown: but yeah i think it could be very risky to just learn predicted, id say go through all poems, maybe watch some of mrbruffs videos and read your notes however just focus on the predicted ones

Ugh so annoying!
But I guess we are quite lucky that our anthology was two years ago- atleast we have an idea what will come and what wont. And a lot more resources!
I will, thanks, I will probably just practice the predicted ones though.
Does anyone know how to get an A*/A in the exam on thursday?

What sort of comparisons would you have to make and how? (Structure/form?) (Example paragraph please? :cute: )

Also would you do 2 alternative explanations and evaluate them or not?
What are the predicted for Relationships?

i think this is it

Looking at the mark scheme it seems that you mainly talk about the poem they gave you and not as much about the one of your choice or do you talk about them equally?

PLEASE RESPOND

i did the question about how i respond to ending and i approached at as the ending which symbolises the climax for the birling family from the inpseoct experience.

I talk about how the whole ending encapsulates socialism since priestley used the inpsector to alter characteristics of sheila and eric to make them better people so when the curtian falls these characters are diffrewnt in the end compared to the start. i talked about the exclamation mark and hypen in shiela quiotes represent her realisation of the truama of capitalism causing her social awarness to be raised inginiting the fenmisnt movements due to womens fairer motives-this contrasts from how she was more self obsessed at the start. eric however used his statues to fulffill his lusts and desires but he realises at the end that responsiblity and guilt should be taken. the ending has socilaist motives which was priestley;s motive since he's shhowing how socialism is a concept which cares for everyone even the birlings making them more prepared and ready for the "real" inspector after the phone rang sharply.

sorry for my writing blunders, im typing fast

Yeah my English teacher said the boundaries were already quite low and the unpredictable question they asked such as Slim in OMAM may have made students stumble!
To get good marks in Unit 2 you need to comment on Themes, Language Structure and Form, Effect on reader and actually compare!

To compare, do you evaluate which poem is most successful in conveying the theme to the reader?
Can someone help me please?! What will they ask me on the poetry exam on Thursday, I'm doing moon on the tides anthology
