Just did a D2 mock and realised I really need to start memorising things properly... 80% !!! :eek: That's lower than I've got on mock STEP papers in months hahaha :lol: ! FML :lol:

What stage are you at? If you're A level, I inagine you've done most of your maths exams for this yr so far. How do you think you've done in them?

My C2 exam is tomorrow but I haven't done the solomans, are there suggestions for which ones are the most difficult?, and i'll just do them! :smile:

Draw a line from O to C so that OC is 6-R then draw a line from C to the point where the tangent meets the circle so the length is R so it's a right angle triangle. And you have got the angle above as pi/6, because you've evenly divided the angle pi/3 when connecting OC.

Then use SOH CAH TOA to get the radius.

Those practice questions you posted are so weird :tongue: but they do require thought, so they're good, although a lot of stuff we don't look at comes up such as question 5 on paper 4, like ln (natural logs) is C4 (or C3) maths and I've never ever used the symbol 'e' in any maths question :tongue:

Trust, now I finish normal c2 papers in like 40 mins because the other ones seemed so difficult! Thats also why I don't have time to do all the Solomon papers though :s They were good practice though, yeah same never used e...

I haven't even finished all the normal C2 papers :eek: they all seem standard so I went off looking for a challenge. Solomon C2s aren't too bad if I'm honest

Really couldn't find it.. sounds interesting though
