I did this exam in November 2012 and got an A. I'm retaking to get an A* but what if I only got a B. Will I keep the best grade or the retake grade?
i think its best grade mate, how did you revise for it?

I appreciate students like to know though!

With my pupils sitting them exam I am going to find what I believe are 100 of the more challenging A and A* questions and get them to see how many they can get and email me the answers.

Revision should be suited to you whether that is past papers, books, study groups, parental/teacher support, videos or a chat forum.

I would say though there is a difference between revision and needing to learn a topic and from experience some students could spend more time grasping the understanding of a topic (or two) instead of just hoping they get the past paper question right or it doesn't come up!

I am up to 2 questions out of the 100 so far and will write some nasty ones:devil::devil::devil: to really push the A/A* students.

Hello we have somewhat close to 2 weeks before we do the non calculator paper, how is everyone feeling. What do you think is likely to come up and if so what did you make of the June 2012 maths paper? :biggrin:

I'm taking this exam, I'm doing it early so its my first 'proper' exam and I'm really nervous even though ive done loads of revision :colondollar: I'm targeted an A* so hopefully thats what i'll get. I'm okay with most topics but for some reason cant get my head around bearings I dont know why :confused:
