it was clearly 6 it repeated every 10 seconds
Hmm....I'm kinda surprised at the response to the exam. My prediction of 6 marker was true!

Few questions

Why was diffusion higher when water from tracheoles in insects was removed? Higher SA:VR?

Species diversity was 6 something?

Tick boxes: quaternary structure was haemoglobin? Nitrogen present in starch and cellulose? Can't remember other box...

Yea as its a protein. An amino acids join by condensation.

Darn it, I just didn't think cause as soon as I saw the others I knew immediately they were condensation as in the book it stresses that haha oh well only a mark

What did people put for the question about abdominal muscles in insects

Increases air in tracheoles so conc gradient between tracheoles and rrspiring muscle tissue is steeper.

i hate ticking box questions :frown: so awkward lol

same i didnt put it for heamoglobin either
but i put that heamoglobin has nitrogen ? is that right lol

Yeah I put that it has nitrogen too. It has a quaternary structure meaning that it must have a tertiary structure so it contains nitrogen, it is an enzyme also

i got 6.6 reoccurring, it opened twice in 18 seconds.. so i did 2/18 multiplied by 60 seconds..
dont know if im right or not

I did that

They divide more frequently and thus undergo more dna replication.

Woooo I put that and thought it was wrong haha

I'm hoping it'll be 55/56 for an A otherwise it's a retake for me :frown:

Filter paper with NO lipids

a) Centromer
b) joins to spindle fibers in metaphase
c) different alleles
d) chromosomes not replicated into sister chromatids as figure 2 is prior to synthesis.
e) 3 chromosomes- 1 from each homologus pair( ie. one long,1 medium and one short)

Question 2
a)similar organisms capable of breeding to produce fertile offspring
b) groups withing larger groups with no overlap

What will the grade boundaries be for an A, higher than jan 2013 or lower??

Does haemoglobin have condensation reactions?

Posted from TSR Mobile

Haemoglobin is a protein, amino acid chains are formed by condensation reactions... i think :s-smilie:

Question 9, when it was asking about why the males show more courtship behavior towards longer snakes
