Not true. You can get a C or higher at AS.
But you must get above 90 percent in a2.
If you get a c at AS, then that's almost 100 percent on all A2 modules to get an a star!

No you don't: you have to get 80% UMS overall and 90% UMS in A2 units.
You can get 70% average at AS which is a B, but get 90% average at A2. This would be an A*.

I put similar, but just mentioned that it may have been a mutated strain which contained some resistant bacteria.

Edit:

First part I thought was representative sample, the other part was where I answered as above when it talked about hydrachorite (or whatever it was) being less resistant in the other hospital.

So for that question, marks would have been awarded for the key words such as osmosis of water, the lowering of water potential and water potential gradient, root pressure, cohesion tension theory and the evaporation of water at the leaves.. stuff related to that and not the pathways.

I talked about root pressure and cohesion, although I did mention symplast pathway.

A* requirements say that you need a 90% average over A2 and an A overall, meaning that you can get a B at AS and still get an A* :smile:

Omg! The amount of revision i did for this stupid exam seriously did not reflect the paper i just sat. What the hell even was that? I think aqa need to realise that just because we do biology does not mean we have an avid interest in animals such as snakes. Seriously, i think i've hands down failed. I was getting A's on past papers and now i'm just thinking lol, where's the vodka at?
