But

Lower/higher * 100 = percenatge increase

so lower * [value from above] = higher

i got the value of 429%

and when you do lower * 4.29 = higher

but i suppose thats % increase rather than % difference, i probably didn't read the question right :/

I got 6 in the insect question.
Took 8 seconds for the process and the process itself took 2 seconds.

8+2 = 10.
60/10 = 6 =)

- Root pressure
- cohesion-tension theory

None of this symplastic/apoplastic rubbish

Was percentage INCREASE - have to deduct 100% from your answer.
I have made that mistake MANY times, luckily not this time. =P

I put fewer ecological niches and a reduction in the variety of food sources, so insects would die off.. aha :smile:
I KNEW insects would come into this paper!!!
Although, I was expecting tissue fluid, I even wrote on the desk the whole process of tissue fluid incase I forgot in my exam. =P

Hmm guys, after finding out if you were right or wrong don't dwell on it! Make sure you move on to something else! It's better to do bad in one than let one ruin it for the rest of your other exams :smile:

I did the -100% in my workings, to show 329% [to 3.s.f]
but wrote down 429% just in case, so out of 2, i should get 1.
