Likewise, Freud was able to suggest to Little Hans that the origin of his fear of horses was because he had a subconscious fear his father would castrate him because he subconsciously wanted to have sex with his mother, making his father angry (E)
So I told my teacher is was a lot to remember so she gave me an example of someone's work and she showed me all the paragraphs for a 12 marker. This is an example of someone's work and she said they would get 12 marks: One strength of the psychodynamic perspective approach is that it's useful. For example in T+C study can help us understand MPD and help doctors correctly diagnose the disorder. Also in Freuds study's he identifies the Oedipus complex which is useful because it helps us understand the process of a boy's development. Therefore showing this is a strength of the perspective because it allows researchers and doctors to understand those processes.
The example's she given me of someone's else work is not very detailed at all. And I just feel I have wasted all my time revising the wrong thing! I really do feel like an idiot.

Yup happens to me. I find that when i take break and chill and then come back to it, the information comes flaooding back of which wasn't in my mind previously. I guess it's mostly the mental state you are in praticularly if you are nervous to. But yea there are really annoying tiny pieces of information that have to know but they are difficult to remember like the Sperry results. If you enter the exam with a positive mind frame, you will do better.

think you just mention how due to the corpus callosum being severed, information cannot be transferred between the two hemispheres, so 'split-brain' patients basically behave as if they have two seperate brains. For example, when visual stimuli is projected to the left visual field, it is processed by the right hemisphere. As language resides in the left hemisphere, the patient cannot say what they saw, due to information not being able to be transferred from the left hemisphere to the right

The Physiological approach could explain the difficulties experienced by individuals with a splitbrain because their brains work differently to those of normal people. As a result of having their corpus callosum severed, the two hemispheres of the brain work independently and unlike a normal brain, do not transfer information from one side to the other. This inability to transfer information means splitbrain patients cannot do certain things a normal person can. This was demonstrated in Sperrys study which showed that if an object was presented to the left visual field which was registered by the right hemisphere of split brain patients, they were unable to name what they had seen. A normal person would have no difficulty naming the object but as the language centre of the brain is in the left hemisphere and in split brain patients the information presented to the right hemisphere cannot be transferred to the left via the corpus collosum for identification through language...
could add a bit more detail and less waffle, but you get the idea?
