it's a rock
Are we allowed to study Mt St Helens as a volcanic eruption case study? or is it too long ago.. it's in the CGP book..

On a serious note: how would you answer that question?

Yes, but they'd prefer something a little more recent. Lots of people to St. Helens

I wanna have a go at the Jan 13 tectonic 40 marker but don't really see the point when no one has to mark scheme =/

It's pretty much the same as a previous 40 marker on Human factors and seismicity
feeling nervous about this exam!

I'm not sure but i'm guessing it's an exposed sill or dyke from weathering and erosion. I would guess it's a sill as I can see vertical cooling cracks.

Definitely looks like a sill as it's a narrow band of intruded igneous rock into the country rock. You can tell it is a sill as it is concordant with the bedding of the rock it intruded, i.e it runs with the bedding rather than cutting through it. A dyke would cut through the bedding.

So scared for this exam, don't think I'll even get a D in it to be honest, just so much to learn and if I revise a different subject I feel like I've forgotten it all!

For re-urbanisation, do you think you could bring in case studies from UDC's and City Challenge Partnerships? Don't really have a specific example for Re-Urbanisation.
