Im sure you will!
Ohh is this like all the past paper questions in a booklet? Or like other questions? Going to start on Maths soon, I honestly feel like I’m failing L I don’t think I will get AAA but just going to try I guess.
Wow well done :O I’d be so happy with a score like that :P come on, losing one mark is inevitable :P
I think you mean Kal Ho Na ho!
Go you, how are you still alive and awake with all this work for Maths -_-
I want you to get into Warwick, because you deserve it!
Woahh :O

Yeah it's' that one.
Lol you'll get AAA dw :wink:
1 mark shouldn't have been lost! -_-
No YOLO! :cool:
lol i enjoy maths? :tongue:
We will see
and yeah but he's got a laid back attitude as he's doing another year and is going to aim for warwick and anooy me if i get in when he comes O.o But very smart..he's been playing Warcraft and played pokemon on his ds in further maths lessons lol.
Does anyone think I would be penalised if I used the product rule for questions where you could use the quotient?? I still get the same answer... I'm just more comfortable using the product rule. Anyone know if markschemes accept this alternative?

The "| |" brackets mean they take the absolute value, basically the positive.

you may still get marks but it makes more sense to use the quotient rule plus it's neater.

haha good point, esp when its a silly mistake -_- In maths, most the time peoples mistakes are calculation errors.
That is crazy, but he won't be in your year though he'll be the year below so its fine :tongue: some people are so talented at Maths I just don't understand :tongue:
lol

Daaaamn that integration of 2^t got me how do u do that ?

y=2ty = 2^t

lny=ln2t\ln y = \ln 2^t

lny=tln2\ln y = t\ln 2

Differentiate both sides wrt t,

1y×dydt=ln2\dfrac{1}{y} \times \dfrac{dy}{dt} = \ln 2

dydt=yln2=2tln2\dfrac{dy}{dt} = y\ln 2 = 2^t \ln 2
