That's the funniest description ever. :ahee: But I don't see why not.

Please teach me how to merge different pdf files in one? I have been wanting to know this all my life?????

There are quite a few ways to do this. The easiest method is to use this website: http://foxyutils.com/mergepdf/ or to install a virtual .pdf printer.
Having looked through this thread, here is an unofficial mark scheme for Q1:

1(a)(i) C10H22 (1)
(ii) Any branched isomer of C10H22 (i.e) 2-methylnonane or 2,3-dimethyloctane plus skeletal formula (2)
(iii) Branched chain has less surface contact - less vdWs' forces etc (2)

(b)(i) Any equation to show cracking of C15H32 (i.e C15H32 -> C10H22 + C5H10) (1)
(ii) C-C bond can break anywhere (1)
(c)(i) Cyclic octane - (i.e an octagon) (1)
(ii) Cyclic hydrocarbons burn more efficiently (1)

My teacher told me that the largest number of C atoms you can get in an alkane ring is 6, so wouldn't the skeletal formula of Octane be a hexagon with two methyl groups extending from it?

I remember it being discussed not so long ago.

ummmm, I thought cis trans related to something to do with masses...I'm not sure if it was applicable to the molecule or not?
But if it is (I don't know much about it) and Z=Cis, E=trans then yes

Thanks
Any predictions on full UMS grade boundary ?

Realistically i managed to get around 93/94 marks - Hope that's enough *fingers crossed*

I've seen it at 97 quite a few times...so we'll need some epic finger crossing! (I think I got about 95/96 ish)

too low It would be 84 for an A I supoose

What do you mean too low?
LOL.

I personally feel that I scored 98/100 which those two mistakes on small marked question, but I still feel that it was a challenging paper comparing it in between different students!

Did you think you done great?
It was a matter me going through thinking: "This is the type of question that people might wreck!"
Now?
I have read the Examiners reports and they inform us a lot on what she should get right to make it into the top boundary of performance!

I hope you done extraordinary, anyway.
Yu guys are ALL awesomely motivated, focused and intelligent!

By the looks of it, it seems you and I - now thinking about it - has full UMS from our predictions!
Congratulations and huge well done!

I'm one of those weak students dreading it to be that high for an A considering how many people on here said they found this a pice of cake.
