I know some people who mark them selves right and give themselves half marks and giving them selves benefit of doubt marks

I'm not like that as its pointless giving yourself false hope to be knocked down later.

What's the highest the A has actually been in this exam?

I think approx 78, so if you get 80 you will be on the safe side :smile:

First test under conditions. Got 82/100 on Jan 2011 and considering an A was 65 would anyone be confident to say what type of UMS this would get me? Quite a nice exam really with a few interesting parts but nothing that got me too bad :smile:

Well I only got 1 mark for this as went about it the wrong way I believe but it's your moles of S2O3^2- divided by 4

Seriously?? But surely the calculation questions get you almost half marks, along with the transition metal and buffer ones, then there are a few redox and some electrode and fuel cells and its done really.

As I seem to only struggle on the electrode parts, nothing else I'm feeling pretty darn confident about next week now! I won't get complacent though.

I thought it was D because you are adding alkali so equilibrium shifts to left to restore Ph value and so Ka value decreases ?
