Do you have MSN, cam4cam? xx

I thought for an A* in Maths you needed 90+ UMS in C3 and C4 then just 80% UMS overall? Not just 90% UMS overall...

90+ probably could be 100 if the majority are right

I know right....
Some people are so lucky, that they can get their hands on the paper before they actually sit it >.<

what!? I don't think they can, I think im just retarded ^^

do you think working out 3 x sqrt17 for the area of the triangle in the vectors Q would be worth any method marks?

You had to say that 28=27+6x
Getting x=1/6
then sub this into the binomial expansion you have to multiply it by 2 at the end because it wanted 2/28^(-1/3) and this works out 1/28^(-1/3)
i checked mine and it was correct to around 5dp

For the 3 mark question (i think 7) I got

a.cos(k.t) =1.3.cos(30.t)

As 1.3 is the max value so a has to be 1.3
And high tide occurs every 12 hours (a complete cycle) so I did 360/12 which is 30

Is this the right sort of idea?

Yes some people do, as exams come nearer the price of papers drop too, they start from around £1000 [but no-one sells it to me :frown: ]
Nah I'm retarded too, I just hope I get into Uni this September and don't have to come back to college for a 3rd year....

I got the same except I had mine in radians so instead of 30 I got pi/6
