The moon is pea size compared to the Sun, surely the sun would give a larger force?

Yes, but the sun is a much larger distance from the satellite in the question than the moon is

I got more than 0.26 amps as if it was less the efficiency would be greater than 100%

agreed!

I put more than too

No one could have predicted that 6 marker

3.6 I think I got for that

Erm the lowest answer, ie A was 13MJ..

I put 25MJ lol, random estimate :\

Was the tension on the bob thing 24N??

For the multi choice with the rod and the magnetic field to the right did people get, the movement was vertical and emf induced = blv

What did people get for the final transformers multiple choice question? 460 turns and less than 0.26A?

I got more than 0.26 as VsIsVpIP<1\frac{V_sI_s}{V_pI_P} < 1

did you get something to the power x10-8?

7x10-8 I got, and 8.7 something for the one before

surely for question 5 the answer was 150 degrees! not 60!

12000Ns (B) for question 2 about momentum?
Reply 651
Did anyone get 1500 revs per minute for freq? And the graph of emf was a sine wave?

Also, since it was a SEMI circle did we have to use circumference as PI/R instead of 2PI/R? I got 6.8X10^-8 seconds?

I put this, then pi/3 radians, for some reason :/

I smashed every section A past paper, dropping not more than 2 marks

but I think I've dropped at least 3 already, that earth, sun, moon and the vertical rod question were a mind****
Original post by fizzbizz
I got Earth > Sun > Moon

I thought moon would be more than sun since the moons distance was smaller than sun's

Depends how far away the sun is though doesn't it

am i right in saying they only look at that red sheet you filled in for section A and not the question paper?

For vertical rod, was the answer it moved horizontially to right or something, EMF was defo BLV, I think it was B? :s-smilie:
