Umm I'm pretty sure it does... Using the rule cos^2(x) = (1+cos2x)/2. ?

My calculator says the answer is 0, but I'm just wondering how did you integrate the [Cos2xCos4x]?

You leave cos2x as it is and for cos4x you use the cos double angle formula but replace x with 2x

surely then why you multiply stuff out you end up with your origional problem of integrating [2cos32x]? I might be missing something here....probably am...

Oh i just managed it. You replace x with (x+x^3)
1+(x+x^3)+2(x+x^3)^2+14/3(x+x^3)^3
the X^3 terms are 1 and 14/3x^3 and so the answer is 17/3
