Well, they're quite similar to dogs, I guess, seeing as they have tails and can swim :sly:

So, I'm thinking about doing PPE, and it's time to choose my AS and by extension my A levels. To be honest, I'm pretty much decided, it's just Politics vs History at this point.

- Maths
- German
- Economics
- Chemistry
- Politics OR History

Maths is like the swiss-army knife of A levels, afaik. Also, I really like maths. I'm good at German and it looks very good to have German. Economics sounds really interesting and I like that kind of stuff. Chemistry is there as evidence of breadth, I guess. I don't want to drop sciences altogether, and Chemistry is really interesting. Even though I've listed it fourth, it's probably the subject I'll drop for A2.

Politics sounds really interesting, I guess. I've always been quite a political person, which is why I want to do it. I'm also really into History. However, I'm more into the facts style of history rather than the analysing sources style of history; I'm also not a big fan of being told what History to study. I mean, I'd rather just end up on the internet for hours reading about a random historical event than being told I have to learn about a certain topic for 2 years. Oxford lists Maths and History as "useful" subjects for PPE, and certain Oxbridge colleges list Politics as "generally unsuitable" (the kind of label they apply to "soft" subjects like Media Studies).

What do you guys think I should do?
