What does coherent and monochromatic mean again?

Posted from TSR Mobile

Coherent - in phase

monochromatic - Single frequency (or wavelength for that matter)
Any predictions on what's gonna come up guys?

You can either revise the key concepts of turning points.
Or you have to talk to exam officer. They might have a spare paper and ask them to correct it. It might be possible to sort it out. Examiner could ask AQA about this being a mistake and it could be solved. Go early to school and talk to exam officer.

It shouldnt be too bad, ive seen it happen before
Just speak to the exam officer in your skl and theyll contact the board and theyll arrange to change it for you (and your skl should have spare papers anyway)
Just make sure to spk to the exam officer before the exam
Are there any definite definitions you NEED to know (also for astrophysics)?
Thanks

physics questions:wink:
predicting doesnt really work for me, but for the 6 marker i try look whats come up around 2 years ago as the past 2 questions are really unlikely to come up so you dont need to remember them

do you need to remember r0=1.05fm? can't see it on the data sheet

Nope

You usually have to work out r0... don't worry they give you the data required to do so, it's straight forward usually
I think I'm the only one revising till early morning {sigh}

Medical physics :frown:

Nope, Turning points !

We persuaded our teacher to change from medical physics... seemed too hard

For section D, turning points i'd definitely say the 6 marker is going to be on Theory of Relativity. The last 2 papers have been Wave Particle Duality and the one before that was the microscope. No doubt it will be about the twins & who's the oldest.

The first section is pretty much the same balance each time.

I did biology so some of the medical physics overlaps nicely and just seems to make sense to me

But so much to learnnnnn

Might need to pull of an all nighter

Sigh, no point dwelling and stressing about what you do and don't know now? Your better off getting a decent nights sleep

(Which i should be doing right now, but i can't sleep :frown:)

Done 3 past papers... well I just sat there copying out the mark scheme

I was more prepared for unit 4 & I find unit 5 much harder n longer

Also I need 110 UMS to get an A, because of the frickin' ISAs

assuming the ISA gradeboundaries are unreasonable as always

Argh, good luck anyway :frown: Unit 5 is actually really hard! And yeah, ISAs are stupid.
I'm totally unprepared for all the six markers, haha

Goodnight!

Are we expected to know that? I thought the answer needed further knowledge? Something like one experiences acceleration (Idk?)

I did a past question once & it was a 6 marker on relativity. The question was something along the lines of one twin going to outer space for a year, then he comes back... Who is the oldest & why?

I know this feeling...

I need 113 for an A yet 53 for a B, insane on the marks difference.

I had a decent A last year but i dropped massively in Unit 4 with 70UMS, i re-sat last Thursday but i think it went just as bad... Unit 4 doesn't agree with me!

On the plus, i'll be over the moon with a B, it's what I need for University

Then teach me, because i hate relativity. Huygens and Newtons any day, it's hands down my fave thing in Unit 5.
