You probably know more Spanish grammar structures than a lot of porspective AS Students (who have been spoon fed all the way through GCSE and will do naff all qua revision this summer!) Expanding your vocab is the easy bit :yep: & the fact that you know French means you're already half way there!
Also machen Sie sich keine Sorgen darüber mayun!!

I can't do the vocabulary:cry2:

But thanks

But the vocabulary is at least partially similar to French? It's how I managed to remember specific terms that didnt sound the same between Fr/Es and English but did between the two:

Autochtone/autóctono - a native person.

I'm sure you'll swim your way through the Spanish course!
You should go for Spanish because:
1) Italian has one lf those terrifying 'Research Based Essays'
2) Spanish has a lot more resources for independent learners
3) *don't hate people* Spanish has very straightforward pronunciation/spelling rules (for a Romanic language)
4) It's a fun language, but just not as fun as German natürlich...

Do you want to learn Spanish, or to pass an exam in it?

For the former, I suspect this process is applicable to all languages.
1)Buy, borrow, beg books and audio materials
2 work through them (instead of trying to get people to spoon-feed you the exciting constructions from the back of the book).

The latter is probably the same as the former, except I would expect you to need an exam specification, the examination board coursebooks as well, copies of past papers, and someone to mark your essays.

If I decide to do the AS, it'll be both!

 I like being told things, German I don't like reading the book...

Spanish and Italian is fine for reading it though.

Hi, I'm new to this thread.

So I'm interested in taking French past GCSE but on my own, and learning Welsh and Norwegian

I can understand a bit of German
