I'm predicting a Murray-Djokovic Final. I can't wait for Wimbledon to start!

Plus this is the first year I literally have the 2 weeks completely free to watch whatever match I want. :cool:

Obviously when you look at it Djokovic is favourite, but he is by no means comfortable on grass and I feel if a player such as Delpo, but mainly in my eyes Berdych (if he avoids round 1 exits) can take him out on a good day.

BO5 is a completely different ball game to BO3. Delpo don't have the stamina to really trouble Nole in a GS anymore, Tomas maybe but he is a big chocker.
Even as a Federer fan, I don't really care about the draw. We can argue and argue about the fairness of the seedings and the draw, but at the end of the day it's done. They're not going to change it now.
All of the permutations about when the big 4 will play each other ignore the possibility of upsets. There are dangerous players and banana skins everywhere. Just look at Djokovic - first round against Mayer, twice a quarterfinalist here and bags of experience. In the right mood, he could be a handful.
Interesting draw...

Djokovic - Haas and Berdych should provide entertainment but no real threat to Djokovic unless Del Potro can make it to the semi's (which is doubtful since Ferrer beat him here last year). In the event of that match up actually occuring i'd actually go for Del Potro given they've only met once on grass and that was a straight sets win for Del Potro. Odds on however for Djokovic to reach the final.

Federer - Awful draw. Fedal quarter final i think may be winnable but it will be dragged out so long that Murray will walk over him.

Nadal - Mixed draw. Federer is a threat if he gets off the mark quickly but there's a decent chance that Nadal will go through (one thing in Fed's favour is that the match if in the evening will be under the closed roof) however if Nadal get's through then he must fancy chances since Murray has never taken Nadal to a 5th or even beat him on grass. Nadal probably wins if he passes Murray but it would be close.

Murray - Probably the most difficult early draw but should pass it, will have a tough semi against Nadal but probably enough to take a tired Federer. Probably wins if meets Djokovic in the final.

Imagine Fed was still in his peak and mid 20s and had this draw, it'll be a joy to watch. He'll crush Nole and Murray in straights after obliviously struggling against Nadal. But with this draw like this at 30+, it could get really ugly for Roger, unless if he turns on the GOD mode, which hasn't really happened at all this season, so Roger is in a spot of bother. Even if he somehow gets past Rafa, there is Andy and Novak to worry about, so it's safe to say that he will be #5 for the first time in 10 years in 2 weeks time. :frown:

Fed's main problem is not that he couldn't take Murray or Djokovic but that Nadal will play it out so long the he won't have the energy if he does get to Murray. He pretty much has to take Nadal in straight sets and for that we need to pray for rain.
No one talking about the women. Watching Eastbourne though, it's not hard to see why :yawn:

There is nothing to talk about. Maybe who will lose in the final to Serena is debatable.

Is Caro ever gonna leave her father? He has taken her as far as he possibly could, now she needs a new coach who can do something with her loopy forehand and serve. Her backhand is already rock solid, but she needs to improve on those areas, if she is to be a GS champion. She is only still relatively young, so has got time to implement changes into her game, but she needs to act fast.

And I just hope that Serena doesn't win- nothing against her, I just want someone else to win, preferably Maria Sharapova or Li Na or Caroline Woniacki.

Sharapova just needs to sort out her first serve. In rallies she can just about match Serena, but she's often let down by erratic serving.

She needs more than just the first serve. She needs variety in her game to trouble Serena. How about throw in a slice to disrupt her rhythm? Her ball bashing game is effective against anyone, but Serena as Williams got more power, so can out power her. She needs to work on her slices if she's to ever beat Serena again.

Federer has an average start to the tournament , with perhaps a 4th round test. Once it gets to the QFs, however, his section becomes 500 times more difficult with Nadal and Murray in the way.

This does, however, present some sort of opportunity to prove he can still beat Nadal in a Grand Slam, regardless of how unlikely it may be. It's all mental and I'm not sure how he would approach the match were the two to meet. If he can get through Nadal, Murray will be waiting to take him down. Federer's best chance at the title is to somehow beat Nadal, hope Murray loses earlier and hope his confidence and momentum propels him into the final against Djokovic or someone else.

In light of the draw, my new picks are Murray and Djokovic for the title match really.

EDIT: Must be some angry Fed fan unhappy with the draw that's negging me.
