What are your cultural attitudes towards stinky people? I don't mean a bit B.O. due to the hot weather...but just people who carry a very strong offensive odour? :puke:
There was one in front of me at the co-op this morning...My body just instinctively stepped asside and took a few steps to the left.

Would my behaviour be considered rude in your cultures? (a)

4 hours on...and this unfortunate encounter is still slightly upsetting my stomach :frown:

Il y a des gens qui STINK, et nous essayons leur avoider :wink:

The stinking is what would be considered rude. Stepping away is fine, unless you gesture towards the stinky person and involve someone else around you in pointing out that they smell bad - that's rude.

Ich werde mich auch umzugen, if this individual had the cheek to sit next to me on a bus or something ^^ :puke:

In some cultures the cocensus would find it more acceptable to suffer in silence and remain "polite" :redface: :confused:

Oh I see, I've seen people in language forums say en tu hogar, but it's not as common as en casa, which was I was taught anyway, so I just use en casa. :biggrin:

I don't really understand your question, but it's always essayer de + verbe infinitif.

As I said, you always need the " de " or it doesn't make sense.
