Guys DON'T like all sorts, there's a reason why there are lads mags, porn and glamour models cater to one description

 U SERIOUS?

Ok have you ever bought a porn mag (other than nuts), or watched porn?

On the most popular online porn sites, there are categories for big tits, small tits, europeans, asians, blacks, petites, every hair colour you can think of.
Specialist porn also caters for guys who like BIG women (and I mean large, not just curvy), and guys who like very small women.

Small breasts are a well-known fetish. Admittedly, it's a less popular fetish, but it's still one. For normal men. And quite popular, considering it is a category on almost all major porn sites.

To say that is incredibly naive. Men DO like all sorts. Maybe not you, maybe not people you know, but they do. Particularly adults. Probably there is something to be said about teenage men preferring a certain figure, but that's not the same later.

I used to believe I'd only ever go for really tall, muscular men when I was younger. People are quite open minded after a bit of life experience.

This is getting stupid now, I think Sisu made it abundantly clear when he said you'll never understand what men find attractive. But you as a woman can apparently tell me as a man what I should and shouldn't find attractive in women.

And I love that anomaly reference, it just reinforces my point. The rest is just nonsense about absolutes that I can't bothered with.

You really need to stop fapping and get into the real world. Oh wait. You won't, because no girl will want a sexist pig like you who sits on TSR insulting anyone who crosses his path.

My boyfriend is an anomaly that he likes skinny girls. Plenty of guys like slim or athletic girls. You only have to go on porn hub or /r/gonewild and look at all the categories on there to see that men like a diverse range of body shapes in women. Not sure why you won't accept this. Surely it would give you more chance with your big booty girls knowing not every other man is after them too?

I'm repeatedly called up on this. And yet my story remains the same: I do not believe myself to be insecure. The comments 2ndclass or whatever gives me are completely blind, he doesn't know what I look like. For all you guys know, I may be fat and just on this thread for jokes. I'm calling YOU up on this because in a debate, calling someone insecure really does nothing for the argument. I was trying to make a point to him, which was the reason I kept quoting him. If I was really that insecure, I'd probably have stopped when he initially made a comment about how he'd find me unattractive, and never come back in order to protect my own self-security.

People quote you in order to make a point, and to let you know their thoughts. It's a fairly void way of debating to make a personal comment about someone, and when they debate back, immediately say it's because they're insecure.

People are quoting you and 2ndclass because we see something we don't like in what you are saying. Not necessarily because they're offended. Instead of throwing 'DON'T TAKE IT SO PERSONALLY U R SO INSECUUUUUURE' comments around and making comments about whether or not you think a guy is masculine/effeminate (as you did the other poster), or whether you think a girl you've never seen is attractive (like with many of the posters on here, particularly myself), try and debate against our arguments. I bet neither of you can really make a valid point against some of what has been said without reverting to saying we're just insecure, or making a personal comment about what you predict we are like as people.

I am not randomly throwing out accusations of insecurity, the reason why I stated you're insecure is because you're not just debating 2ndclass. You're calling him a troll and saying good bye and how you're done but what do you continue to do? Quote him. Clear sign of insecurity, you feel ultra-defensive. Why? If you weren't invested emotionally, you just wouldn't care and actually stop arguing instead of merely threatening to stop arguing and continuing to do so.

I won't waste energy on getting overly emotional in debate online, yet unfortunately I am crap at being purely logical. You may want to have a look at my thread on insecurities.

Who are you trying to lie to fam? You know that you would continue getting overly emotional in online debate. And sorry about your hard life but all it does is reinforce all of 2ndclass views on you by providing background on why you're the way you are. It doesn't challenge it at all.

Also, really dude? You asked us both for explanations/elaborations and now you're trying to imply something when we deliver.

I've actually stopped fapping and got me a FWB

But no I don't insult anyone. I've only insulted people who've insulted me. If you notice I haven't made a single personal remark to you, all I did was express my preference yet you call me all sorts of names because you're so insecure you take it to mean you. You want my validation but you won't get it.

And I need to stop fapping? As I said my preference are as they are and they're pretty representative of the male populace. You said it yourself your boyfriend is an anomaly, deal with it.

Ffs quote fail!
You weren't insulting me. But other people on this thread. You've called a girl unattractive without even knowing what she looked like, and God knows what this weird argument is about with Riku. As far as I can see, he commented on the thread then got pounced on

Agreed, I'm a size 6-8 and threads about skinny women tend to have comments such as a woman isn't a real women unless she has huge curves. It really does not help my self esteem.

Your current size is GREAT, keep it up! If only more girls were like you.

So you're insulting me because I insulted two other people who insulted me. One said I had no life and no friends and the other a fascist.

That's just pathetic. I never said anything to you

This kind of insult is just pathetic tbh. I'm not sure what type of area you come from but I would urge you to start speaking to people in inner-London (not UCL-esque students, more Greenwich students and not the skinny-jeans hipster ones) and you'd realize how popular his viewpoint is. It might come as a shock to you but as someone who grew up in a area where majority of guys held such viewpoints it really doesn't scream someone who is a virgin rather someone who is just a normal guy. If you come from a area that's middle-classy or whatever I can see how it can give the impression of a virgin loser.

OK guys, two against one here, that's suggesting insecurity to me too.
I'm not going to pretend I'm not insecure by being overwhelmed in number, and nor would you.
You've cherry--picked your choice of threads I made but anyway:

i) Yep I'm effeminate. I'm emotional. I'm a whiny bitch, I guess. Always have been. You have to know? My dad may or may not have been whipped, and there may or may not have been some cases of domestic. So sexuality and the masculinity debate is something pretty big and meaningful for me. Standard divorce case it was like 5 years ago maaaan blablabla

ii) BETA...ok, fair enough, if you say so
Do I have to list faults? OK: I think I'm fat/not lean enough (150 pounds-ish), I'm disorganised, I have crap time management (hence why I'm debating at half 12 rather than going to sleep), I'm impulsive, reckless, I comfort-eat, I need approval, I probably fish for compliments, I'm a whiny ****, a drama queen, with low frustration tolerance and I'm a mummy's boy. I pander to my mum because she had clinical depression and as the sole remaining child in the house I feel a sense of responsibility towards helping her get by.
Oh and I'm too open. I open myself up to complete strangers and give away compromising information, as I am now.

By most standards you cannot get much more Beta than that. And yet I still believe in myself and work to overcome these things, and most people don't agree.
So say it.

iii) I didn't actually wear the skinny jeans in the end, or buy them. I was open to the idea of it, if it turned out it was choking my balls you can be sure to say hell to the no. I like my jeans now so I kept them.
iv) I may or may not have low T. I do however have an anxiety disorder which will incline me at times towards distorted thinking and I have to fight against with CBT. Not the most manly of things, is it? What a loser
v) Not sure what little swipe. I have a girlfriend (you're going to wonder how, aren't you?).

I won't waste energy on getting overly emotional in debate online, yet unfortunately I am crap at being purely logical. You may want to have a look at my thread on insecurities.

There's something very telling about their personality, which reminds me of the type of 'lad' many guys think they ought to be. They're putting you down to confirm their own masculinity to themselves (I really hope the little 'bro five' gif they posted was ironic, if not it's quite hilarious and proving our point about them). They believe liking 'BIG TITS, BIG BUTTS' is masculine and therefore they HAVE to do it, whether they're conscious of it or not. Admittedly, some men DO just like that. However what's most telling of the fact they're doing it to prove some sort of point, is that they're acting ignorant to the idea that men have all sorts of preferences, and they're calling you effeminate because you dared to make the point that not all men want the same thing.

As for your insecurities, they get better. I like my body now, I like the way I look in general. I suffer from anxiety disorder too, but it was brought on by PTSD. CBT is also probably the reason I debate against them, but now rather than doing it because I feel like I need to 'fight', I do it to make a point and because it's practice in the ability to exert some authority by saying what I really want to say to people rather than keeping it to myself, whether it's just for debate, for fun, or to defend myself (in this case, contrary to their belief, it's the former).

I'd just kind of leave them to it, but I am saying this to point out that you're far more emotionally mature than them. Not because of whatever your preferences are, that's irrelevant, but because you actually note that men have all sorts of preferences.

I'lll admit, I got lazy, like a reflex reaction to call out someone a troll. This was wrong of me. I apologise.
However I still disagree with both of your views. And I never said I refused to debate any further. I didn't think it was just you two who were trolls but various people on this thread.
I've encountered your mentality towards masculinity enough that it's become a raging battle within my mind so you could say that arguing with you both is a bit like arguing with an aspect of myself. That's why I'm taking this so personally.
I'd have to point you and 2ndclass out on the railing at people for using a cliche 'argument of absolutes' and 'sweeping generalisations', only to do the same fpr 'you don't know what men want'. I am a man and I say yes, I understand your tastes, yes I have them (to an extent), no they're not rigid, they'll probably change in a few years time, with more experience.

There's stuff to challenge the woe is me trend of course-my 2.1 average for first and second year, scholarship, job, girlfriend-but I tend not to blow my own trumpet until I'm really in need of it.

It was generally me saying goodbye because I was planning to do something else, then I started procrastinating again.

And you also just proved my point, yet again. It's quite funny. You are again saying I'm emotionally involved, when I'm essentially sitting on my laptop feeling nothing but despair that this is the state of some of our male youth, and pity for you if you try and get friends this way.

I actually come from a deprived town that's got a very high 'chav' population and rampant unemployment . I went to a good school and have been to two very different universities. I have friends from many different walks of life. I have no reason to talk to anyone in inner London, as I live nowhere near there. So basically you're saying that those viewpoints are mainly representative of that group, NOT all men. So middle class men are exempt are they?

Yeah I thought the fact they chose the two most hench guys going was reeking possible insecurity, simply because I was like that myself once, so I can empathise.
Also 2 on 1 was clearly balanced .
:hugs: Glad to hear you managed to get help. It's good to speak out and say what you mean
Strange of you to say that. I get told I'm emotionally mature a lot, but always feel like I'm stupid for my age. It's been like this since I was about 15 and I'm nearly 21 now...

How am I suddenly superficial?

And you were, you were saying porn, and lads mags cater to the big breasts. You were talking about everything else. I literally just pointed out that there is a category for small breasts and petite women, as well as large women, on these websites... somehow you're still debating it. Yes, a lot of porn is focused towards large breasted women (but I'm not sure 37FFF breasts can really count in your debate), but there is an awful lot catered towards other body shapes too.

Yes I know, but the vast majority of those image depict the more curvier aspects of women. Those girls in those magazine go and have fake boobs for a reason. It's all supply and demand. There isn't that much of a demand for some skinny naked chick with small breasts and not so completely flat ass.

It's all projected insecurity. I make a statement then they take it as if I personally insulted them, proceed to insult me and then get bitchy when I say something back. It's ridiculous. Just like that RIKU fellow, he insulted me for no reason whatsoever but when I pretty accurately described what he is, then they get upset again.

And I'm a lad now apparently.

No, his viewpoint is universal, I'm talking about the way he wrote it by keeping it real and not sugarcoating it which comes of as you said being a sexist pig. Middle class men don't like ironboards too but they would sugarcoat it by stating things like (using Riku's quote as a example) "Much as I like dat ass, not every girl is going to do squats or be into that kinda thing".
