It's not a teaching course? Out of curiosity why did you choose an education degree if not to teach or coordinate the teaching of a subject?

Spanish and German actually haha what are you hoping to do? Sorry if you've said it already!

For the same reason anyone takes a degree in an academic subject - why do people do maths, physics, history if they don't intend to go into work directly related to that field?

Question: how do you know how many UCAS points you need to meet your offer? My offer letter only said "AAA (including A in Mathematics)"?

well its possible, stay positive i think in unit 4 to get a*s its roughly 33/40 on each essay.
use this ums converter to work out what u need on each exam if you want

That's a very good point. Sorry, I let the (purely due to my lack of knowledge of the course) slightly vocational sounding course name confuse me slightly.

That said, since we're supposed to choose what interests us the most to study at university, it's always confused me when people say they don't want a job in that field afterwards. I mean if it's the most interesting subject for you, why would you not want to work with it for life?

(Not a question aimed at you personally, I'm just rambling and musing.)

I'm in my AS year. Say if I don't get at least aaa, will I be able to apply to unis that are at least AAA?

UCAS points aren't really used at the higher ranked unis. Your offer is equivalent to 360 UCAS Points.

Oh right, planning ahead aren't we. That's great, I was like that as well.

I like all things languages-related, so although I'm specialising in Spanish and German, I'm always looking to expand on my knowledge of other languages and really enjoy Italian! Que idiomas aprendes en el colegio? Vas a hacer un A level en algun idioma?

Yeah, I'll probably change my mind, though I'm planning on doing French with Chemistry.

Aah, German I find so hard! I'm definitely doing French A Level, and I want to self study Spanish, I don't have a GCSE in it though

A language is always a great addition to any degree!

To be honest, A level courses go back right to the beginning and you revise all of the GCSE at AS anyway... if they could you let you into a Spanish A level course and you were to put in a lot of hard work, I think you would be fine since they cover all the grammar points again.
