What time will the grade boundaries come out on wednesday?
Original post by xDanny 117
My results day is a mixed bag. I only need 3 B's for my firm of Geography at QUB but I want to move to Maths and Computer Science through adjustment (still QUB).

I'm basically guranteed the A in Geography (needed 71% in A2) but Maths and Physics will be so close to the A boundary they could go either way. It all depends on the grade boundaries and scaling. Hoping that works in my favour as I really worked for this and slipped up in C4, losing like 10 marks .. then you take off 2 or 3 for random errors and I could end up with a low B. I need 149 between C4 and S1 so fingers crossed!

I'm going to Queen's too! If you do end up doing maths I might see you as I'm not sure whether I want to do theoretical physics or maths yet.

Yeahhh same here !

So how did you find F322 and F212 ??

F322:
Very graceful...
Questions were all aroma gable instantly, along with most questions giving all you need to inference to tackle effectively...
It was an exciting examination; that's off the sheet delight of having luck on everything I had generally nailed coming up in longer answers!

PREDICTION: 94/100.
UMS: 150/150.

I hope that's the case!
I feel it in my bones...

F212:
Also very amazing!
The longer answers were great and I felt I spotted most of their sneaky implicit detail in hidden image questions and all..

PREDICTION: 91/100.
UMS: 150/150.

I hope this is also very true!

I FEEL IT TOO!
Enough over my performance...
Tell me about yours!

Is it just me, or has the wait really dragged until last Thursday and now it's going really quickly? I don't like it!

Terrified!

Yeah!
I heard about the M1 controversy...
You guessed it!
S1, alright...
I'm looking for 96-100 UMS for S1; 88-90 for C2; 90-94 UMS for C1.

I hope it will all average out as a 95% average ideally for Cambridge!
Oh, well...

You go!

Don't mind me, I'm just sat here watching results day videos on youtube ...

Perfectly normal behaviour

I did the same last week and came across a guy from my school, he was in fact a friend. Hilarious!

*Takes deep breath*

F322...
Took me by surprise how straight forward the questions where yet i still managed to make the typical 1 mark mistakes:mad:

Prediction; 89 or 90

F212...
Very beautiful paper, loved the little trick near the end of exam where they put the classification orders backwards (phylum, family etc)

Prediction; 93/100 definitely 150 UMS

I hope it all goes to plan

Yeah!
Well done too!
In East London, many feel slumped by the difficulty but I didn't see it to be brutally honest to all!

I had done my research for full marks for the Sciences on the OCR Syllabi and...

Biology:
F212: 86/100.
Chemistry:
F322: 94/100.

What are you applying for at university?

May I add that you've given be substantial relief that you have the same technique by calculating a prediction on UMS:Raw conversions!
