my list for hopeful grade boundaries:

AQA biology: mid-high 50's for low A/1 off an A (need one off an A for an A overall)

AQA physics: as low as possible but the exam was nice so for a high C 40ish

OCR chemistry: i think about 83 for an A but as long as its 90 or lower im won't worried (loved that exam)

ohh fair enough aha! thats not too long or expensive then  aha well its good to be prepared
yea me too I don't wanna start crying at school :/ If I don't get either my firm or insurance I probably won't stay in school to talk to people either  mm same its a dilema, I wanna be with friends but not if i've really messed up aha

Yep, I'm thinking I might even go every weekend if I can and find people to go with.
Yeah I know what you mean. My friends have been asking if I want to go out afterwards from results but I'm not sure I'll be able to socialise and have fun if I don't get the grades. That sounds really self-pitying but my coping mechanism is to curl up into the fetal position on my own for a period of time and then I'm fine again. XD

300 pages... now considering it was 8 days to go when th htread started, if we keep going at the present speed we'll get 400 pages but we can step up our posting/spamming and fill the thread that's be amazing!

We'll get through this thread well before Results are actually released.
AQA and OCR's websites are most likely going to crash and burn at 12pm because of you guys..

Oh yeah, it's quite annoying actually because Magdalen in Oxford is quite popular and for want of a better phrase, has quite a reputation. So people often confuse Magdalene with Magdalen and start saying "Wow, that's amazing! That's such a reputable college, and so large also." And I'm like "nope, nope, that's Oxford. Magdalene, Cambridge is pretty humble and small". I actually have a friend who has an offer for Maths at Magdalen, so hooray for sister colleges!
Yes, it's not long now until the grade boundaries for certain exam boards are released. In the mean time, I think time is slowing the closer we get to the actual day!
I do hope so too, so much! And what was that? I just couldn't quite hear over your blatant jealousy of Cambridge university.

I can imagine! Magdalen is one of the better known Oxford colleges, probably because they have a deer park (!) or two. They are said differently though (and spelt differently, obviously) which probably makes some people more confused. I would rather be in a slightly less known college anyway - all those tourists could get irritating. Hence why New is so great as it's almost hidden down a little alley but is so big. Plus, there is a mound in the garden which squeaks when you clap in front of it.
I'm still in two minds about whether the look at grade boundaries or not. On one hand I probably won't be able to stop myself, on the other it doesn't actually tell me anything about how I did.
Me too! I try to seem neutral about it, but inside I'm just hoping and praying that I've got the grades for Oxford. Sure, you keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better

I'm sure you've done really well! You are probably just underestimating how well you've done because of the pressure :smile:

Thanks for the reassurance , we'll see! Anyways I think my Maths and Further Maths is now secure
Sorry for my lack of ability to research but where is everyone getting the edexcel boundaries from? I've found plenty of maths but I need to check art.

also.

32 hours. srsly.
and, since I'm planning on staying awake all wednesday night, it effectively feels like tomorrow. my stomach is like constantly feeling tight.
hopefully I'll be so tired by the time I get results I won't even care

I see a lot of you are turning to comfort food, alcohol or TV.. anyone else here turning to sheer materialism? I've just had an unhealthy amazon spree to try and take my mind off it
AND WHO'S WITH ME for an all-nighter tomorrow I need some companions

#burnn, but anyway one more try

I'm trying to reset my password for edexcel results plus online and as I click the link, nothing is being sent to my e-mail? (tried junk spam etc) Any advice of what I should do or what's going on. I'm like really far from my college and I really don't want to wait for it to get posted -_-

Are you using the new results plus?

I'm resisting the temptation to check grade boundaries. I'll only be depressed if they are high! I'm stressed over results day as it is haha
