The OCR criminal law (G153) grade boundaries are really high :frown:

Hi, I'm a Bristol firmer and exactly the same thing has happened to me, albeit the wording is slightly different.
I'm expecting the worst tbh, can't think why else we'd suddenly be locked out.

The worst part is that it let me in right up until this morning which means my actual status must have changed, it's either declined or unconditional I guess and why would it lock me out if it was unconditional.

cheers bud , just seen them

really dissapointed with one of the Economics grade boundaries hahahaha i;m ****ed for tomorrow !

No worries. That's how I feel with all of the boundaries :P I mean even though Biology boundaries are low, that means people have generally done worse right? I could pretty much end up with anything. :frown: And the Chem2 boundaries are incredibly high, so that means people have done well, but for me that was my hardest exam. :frown: Good luck for tomorrow. Are you awaiting AS or A2 results?
eeeeeeeeeeeeeek about tomorrow!
looked at relevant grade boundaries, not too high, not too low! fair play this summer tbh

That's what I'm thinking, plus somebody else in this thread said that they are still able to check their Bristol status. I really hope that this is a glitch. In reality, I'm thinking that for Bristol at least, rejected applicants have been locked out whilst accepted/still conditional applicants are still able to login.
Thankfully I'd be equally as happy at my insurance, I hope that you're in a similar position.

I have fully applied for the accommodation, choosing my halls etc. I'm not sure if it'd be relevant if you haven't applied yet. No idea why it's using that wording and telling me that I can't apply when I already have done - I assume that they just reset it for people who have already been rejected.

Surely it wouldn't be reset until after the results tomorrow or everyone would be checking the accommodation offers first?

A-Level results day - Thursday 15 August 2013

Good luck to everyone as we approach the publication of A-Level results. This thread is here for you to discuss your thoughts about results with others in a similar position. Feel free to chat about any of your feelings, concerns or hopes with other members here

If you'd like to share your predictions for your results, as well as the actual grades that you achieve on the day, you can use the dedicated "Post your results" thread. Upon publication, the Grade boundaries thread will be used to share the details made available by exam boards. For anyone disappointed with their results, we have a thread with advice for those who haven't done as well as they hoped to help you to decide what to do next. We also have a dedicated thread for those of you who have just completed the AS-Level stage of your qualification, giving guidance about the next steps from here: AS-Levels: what next after results?
SomeWhen will UCAS Track update?
UCAS Track is usually available from around 8am on Results Day, it's often a little (i.e. an hour or so) earlier but it may be later. There is no point in staying up and checking Track from one minute past midnight, hoping that something will happen; it won't. Instead, you would do much better to try and get some sleep, as you may need to be particularly on the ball if your results aren't what you hope for/expect. Emails will be sent in waves starting at 8:10am.

Once it is back up, if your status hasn't changed, it won't until midday at the earliest, so constantly refreshing the site is pointless and simply blocks things up for everyone else. If you haven't met your offer and Track hasn't updated then you will need to call the universities directly to see if they will still accept you. If you have made your offer but it still hasn't updated then relax and only call the university if it still hasn't updated on the Friday, to make sure that everything is ok.

When are grade boundaries released?
OCR: usually some point during Wednesday
Edexcel: 00:01 on Thursday, according to Edexcel's Twitter account
AQA: Wednesday (some time after midnight)
CCEA/WJEC: Thursday (WJEC typically update after 8am with their raw mark conversion)

Will my firm accept me with A*AB when my offer is AAA?
If Track says unconditional, you're in. If it says rejected, you're not. If it says conditional, phone in! A*AB is equivalent in terms of UCAS points, but your university may not accept that. Chances are Track will have told you anyway. Phone up if you receive these grades. It also depends what the B grade is in - for example, if you're an Engineer and the B is is Maths, chances are they'll say no.

Rejected: Call up. (slimmer chance)

Unconditional: Celebrate!

Conditional: Call up.

There's now just...
I don't know, I guess they just don't expect people to check accommodation offers. I just can't think why else it'd update now when I've been able to access it without issue since I applied.
Guys, what do you reckon will be full ums for ocr f322 chemistry and ocr f212 biology?

Thank you, OCR, for making the Philosophy A2 boundary low .

It's shockingly low isn't it?
50/70 for an A?????

I think I'm fine with my philosophy paper, but my new testament unit is the highest grade boundaries EVER :frown: 56/70 for an A.....
I'm screwed.

Not going to be trusting OCR tomorrow. They marked me down by 11 marks last year, and i'm not as trusting with them this year. I *need* an A or else I'm screwed... :frown: xx
bricking economics to the max now
90/120 for an A in F335 may as well jump off a bridge

haha yeah , science did that to me in my GCSE years , didn't like it at all ! plus whats worse is with Biology , the examiner marks at his discretion really , and you need specific words to get the mark ( atleast at GCSE level anyway )

yeah AS results man , really hoping for atleast AAAB ! i mean i could live with AABB i guess , dunno how badly that would affect my chances for Nottingham/Bath Economics courses haha. how about you ?
