Haha, congratulations!

Spoiler

I'm resitting C3 and Remarking HY1.

Ooh I see, best of luck!

BTW:
You ought not feel useless! You're a GCSE student who just single handedly exceeded most A level students with your results! I'm envious and I'm sure more on this thread are! You have done superbly and I wish I could say I was exaggerating but I'm not!

Is anyone considering getting a NUS card?

How do you get one?

I am, apparently the student card from my (hopeful) 6th form will get me the discounts and stuff fine, but only in my area. I think it will still be worth it to get the NUS one for out-of-town stuff though.

You got an A and a B three years early, snap out of it. You have years to resit and will no doubt leave with all As and A*s when you finally graduate.

Don't feel obliged to feel happy for me though, I hope my sharing my results doesn't contribute to your feeling of inadequacy. :console:

Ignore me, the near misses have got to me. You read stories of people being 1/2 raw marks off the next grade and I thought that'd never happen to me again...

Then bam! Both of them :frown:

:nah: I'm genuinely happy for you, but I can't say the same for others

Thanks  I forget that I'm self taught and early... I just seem to expect the top grades without putting loads of effort in.

It's a wake up call I guess...

Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Latin (the A).
I wouldn't say I worked exceptionally hard, but I worked efficiently once study leave started
9 A*, 2A and an A in FSMQ

Getting 9A*s would probably be a dream for me.

I'll probably end up getting 5/6 A*s

I'd give an arm and leg to be able to do what you do!

Oh why, oh why do I bump into geniuses on the site so often...
and top it off a week before results day:colone::colone::colone::colone::colone:

Tea is a drink, whoever decided that a meal of the day should be named after it should take a long, hard look at himself:biggrin:
