In all seriousness, I think the letter (D) signifies the block, while the number (4) signifies the floor.

I think they're supposed to give you a room number as well, or maybe they haven't given one to you yet. I'm not entirely sure as I haven't actually gotten that far in my accommodation process, I haven't received an offer from them yet. :redface:

Hmm. I haven't got a room number, all my letter says is
"Apartment D4
Stanage Apartments"

i'm in stanage :smile: everyone is complaining about the small flat sizes and small building but it just means we'll all be closer! and less mess/noise

I think we're also closer to the bus stops to the Uni too and I'm sure it's uphill too, so less uphill walking
