"BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in an animal based subject..."

Would applied science come under an animal based subject?..
The other universities I've been looking at have the option of BTEC animal management or applied science, but this particular uni only says "animal based subject" however not specifically animal management.

cant you just email the uni?
I do BTEC applied science (equiv. of 1 a-level) as i do it along with biology and history a-levels, and its not exactly animal based but there are some parts in the biology BTEC work that can be linked to animal based i guess...
would you do the BTEC that is the equiv of 3 a-levels?
cos i guess then that it would be more animal based
