I know, the county thread is pretty much all townhouse applicants + one or two rebels! I picked county on some crazy whim really, i liked it best, but i now realise i've got a bit of a walk to engineering to look forward to :facepalm2:

Marketing. I got my place through clearing so i still haven't received any information on accommodation, but i hope to soon. It's so exciting. I can't wait to start! haha.

I'm doing Engineering :smile:

Well i applied for accomodation back in june and still haven't got anything, so you needn't worry - maybe our names are just at the wrong end of the alphabet :lol:

I know, i'm kinda nervous, but i can't wait!

Grizedale was my second choice, but I really wanted County so I'm glad its what I got! I'm sure the walk won't matter that much, you might end up having lectures all over campus anyway :smile:

Sounds good, is it a joint honours degree then? I did French at A Level and I'm thinking of taking up another language as one of my minors but I can't decide which language! I absolutely can't wait to start, 6 weeks to go! I've started getting some of the things that I'll need, like bedding, things to decorate my room with etc :biggrin:

I'm not sure, but I think it is joint honours, yes. And I think I still have another minor to pick, but honestly I'm so overwhelmed Lancaster has been a mad rush through adjustment so everything is still a bit unfamiliar and I haven't had the chance to properly get everything through my head about the course and stuff.
And haha, god you have to take so much how even do you manage :') duvets, pillows, pots and pans.. plus suitcases of clothes I'd imagine :')
I'm going to look around Lancaster itself tomorrow to try and get my bearings, very excited :biggrin:

I've seen a few driver updates for Tomb Raider recently so it might of been an nvidia problem.

I just bought the humble bundle so I'm playing through Mirror's Edge at the moment. Should check it out if you haven't already. You can get 6 top games for just $1.

Oh, and I'm playing Dark Souls because I heard it was one of the hardest games ever and I just can't refuse that challenge ^-^

yeah we should be for marketing :smile:

I was really surprised by how small the courses were for the marketing specialisation but even the main marketing course only has 68 people on but we will all be in lectures together so it will probably be nearly a hundred of us which is pretty normal.
