Hi there! :wavey:

I'm actually sort of excited to go back after getting results too. I'm both encouraged by the fact that I did well and also spurred on to do even better.

But at the same time I don't want my summer to end. So... feeling conflicted would sum it up well!

The same here! I'm Spanish and the weather is so nice right now... But you know... work hard, play hard  Year 13 will fly and it'll suddenly be Summer 2014. There we go!

NEW THREAD!!!!! can't believe we're in year 13 now :O
can't believe it. seems like it was yesterday I just started secondary school and now this! hahaha I hope this year is amazing and everyone gets the grades they need for uni. For AS I got BBBC and A in Btec Law so I'm planning on trying to maintain the B grades and get at least 1 A haha. Wanting to study Law with Criminology at Liverpool, Leeds, Oxford Brookes and that's all I can think of now.

Why don't you apply to unis this year, and if nothing good comes of it apply the next year again?

Hi everyone!

I'm totally new to all of this since I just got back from a year at boarding school in Texas... and before that was in the Spanish schooling system. Now I'm going to do A-levels in one year (I know it sounds crazy) and try to get into uni next year. Nice to meet everyone, I love the TSR vibe

Okay, so here's a lame attempt to start a conversation for our first year 13 board:

what exam result of those you received on Thursday are you proudest of? Whether it be a single paper or an overall grade.

Because the time I spend stressing about interviews I might not get and preparing for the admissions tests that might not be any use could be spent getting a good foot in my A2s and making up for my ASs.

I'm proudest of 117/120 in my AS music performance.
