Thanks for your reply! I've been learning French for 5 years, and have relatives who are native speakers from my Dad's side, so I try to practice speaking with them. I haven't picked up a routine with improving my French, but on average, I read/listen to French 3 times a week.

What do you do when practising?

Well I more sort of learn German instead of practicisng it, so I go through the pages in german.about and try to set like goals for what I want to cover that day...ie. today Im going for the Imperfekt tense!! And french would just involve speaking in it on here with people in the hope that they correct my mistakes! Et vous?

Hello!! Tbh, i rarely practice French although I speak a bit of it on here, so I suppose you could count that as practice. on the other hand, I practice German about every day for one or two hours at least...How about you? Do you speak any languages?

Hahaha, I'll try that then:

This summer, I began learning the basics of German. I find the grammar hard though :frown:

Wow! You've only be learning them for a year and you are taking it to A-Level? That's amazing  I really like languages too, and I'm taking French as one of my AS Levels. You are very proficient at languages

Hah, Danke! :colondollar:

Hahaha, my Aunt lives in Germany, and she always says it. If I recall correctly, it means 'Practice makes Perfect!'

They sound like a wonderful combination of AS Levels. So you must like essays then, huh?

Haha, everyone says that to me. Hmm, well, I do like writing and deconstructing arguments in a critical way, I guess. I've always had a general interest in various aspects of History; I just hope the topics we cover will be engaging. If anything, English Literature is the only subject I am not 100% sure about. I haven't written a fictional piece of writing or poetry in many years, and I don't read fiction books that often. I used to read a lot more, but now most of my reading revolves around languages.

What other subjects are you studying?
