What did people put for the question about describe the chord fully. To me it was like a major chord without the fifth and flatten 7th ? So I wrote that lol!

I put V7, hope it's right! Usually the question is about dominant 7ths so I went with that!- did anyone put the cadential 6-4 the last 2 bars? Total guess :biggrin:

If I remember correctly, a fifth wasn't it

Viola played C
Violin E

C->E isnt a fifth - Its a major third.

I think it would be mean to ask for a compound interval so maybe you would get the marks for major third if you wrote that at all in your answer!

I know what it is as I found the Saint Saens... It was Eb D Eb Bb. If you would like to hear the piece, it is called Septet for Piano, Trumpet and Strings (second movement I think)

Omg if that's case I'll be 1 note out on 3 notes! You should get marks for shape definitely!

How did everyone do? I got a low A in the exam, low A performance, and a D in composition! B overall, anyone else's compositions marked unfairly?

I got an A or full marks in performance, C on the paper (2 off a B =[ ) and e in composition. My teachers are furious with the marking in the composition as they thought it would be A/B standard so that being remarked. Happy with an overall B

Just my composition
