Just to be sure I'll ask.
I have 4A*s 4As 1B 1c and a Distinction (BTEC ICT).
A*s in Maths, RE, Physics and Biology
As in Chemistry, English Lit, English Lang and History
B in Electronics
C in German
Is this likely to effect me negatively if I apply to Oxbridge (if I have competitive A-levels) I would either apply for engineering or computer science. I know that Electronics is low considering how relevant it is to what I want to do, but my teacher was crap and I basically got taught stuff that wasn't relevant to the exam
Also I could have tried harder for my German, but at the end of the day I didn't.
Also how competitive are Engineering and Computer Science.

no language unit 1 is the only one i am going to remark
ermm ,,,, for language - 265/300
for lit - 176/200

For lang (considerably lower than yours
)- 251/300For lit- 186
Yh same, English has never been my strong point
Do you know when you get your remark grades back? I'm not sure but I've been told it's November time..

Hi guys for my gcse's i got a distinction* 1A* 6A's 1B and 3C's is this ok for UCL, imperial or Kings College?
Hi, i was wondering if i wanted to remark one of my subects which was english as i wanted to get a B I ended up with a C being 2 marks off a B and this really annoyed me. Now i found out remarks had to be payed, is this true or can the school get them remarked for free?

Hi, what grade did you end up with for litt? With 176/200 because i got 172/200 and i ended up with a C? And im not sure how much i need for a B.

yup but they can be irky about it like my lit i got a c then asked them to remark A* but im gonna pay for my geog D -.- im really gutted

You've probably misread something. The way it will always work for GCSEs is as follows:
90% UMS - A*
80% UMS - A
70% UMS - B
60% UMS - C
and so on.
Are you sure that it's out of 200 or that you got 172?
