And what was the reason? As I take homeschooling, I have hardly possibilities to make experiments :frown:. That's why I have to watch some videos about physical experiments. Nevertheless its interesting. You are enviable to have had such a teacher. :yep:

mine is geography cause I find it interesting, not too hard and I never get bored with it at all
Maths is great, but only really the core modules. I loved FP1 :biggrin:

Honestly I love all my subjects tho.

Media Studies - the coursework is SO MUCH FUN (covering one of your best friends in strawberry flavoured fake blood FTW), the AS exam is pretty easy, it's just common sense and a good memory and because some of the texts are amazing - part of my revision has genuinely been watching Doctor Who and The Dark Knight.

I did the Cold War for AS this year and it was SO interesting, I loved it :smile: We linked it with British Foreign Policy up to the end of the Cold War in 1990.
It's funny how for A2 I'm doing a coursework topic on the Russian revolution up to the point that the Bolsheviks came to power :smile: . I have to say it's hard to understand but while I do it gets more interesting.
I think the most interesting periods of history for me is post WWII Germany with Hitler's dictatorship and the failure of the Weimar Republic, alongside Martin Luther King's campaign for civil rights for blacks in the 1960s - it's amazing to look at the progress of equality in hindsight and how far its come from.

That is one of the reason why I have a great interest in this period of time. Industrialization, especially the aspects of social injustices and social question, is another part of history which I like. But most of all Karl Marx's analyses in terms of economy in 19th century. Otherwise ancient times, Roman ones to be exactly, are interesting too.

I see what you mean with your grandmother, she's a living example of history :smile: My dad also got me into black civil rights and the slave trade as he feels strongly about our culture and where we're from originally, and I have picked it up from him.
Yeah I find the Romans interesting as well, but I've loved Egypt from a young age - I had a fascination with mummies lol. Are you studying History at uni by any chance (or applying), or is it just an interest?

It is just an interest to certain eras of history. As written above I'm more interest in subjects which require the ability to reason (mathematic and natural science). I'm also interest in German literature which command a view to certain eras too. There are some literatures which depict the living conditions at those times.

The reason he left? Because he didn't get offered head of physics at my school lol.

French. I think I enjoyed it because my class just spent the whole time talking about whatever we liked, but in french! I was lucky to be in a small class of dedicated but fun loving students, and I'm really sad to have finished it.
