Lol are you kidding me? Nadal had way more luck than Federer in regards to slowing of the courts. You put Federer in any era and he would win 10+ slams. But nadal wouldn't come close to sniffing or should i say biting anything bar the French Open trophy in pre homogenised era. Talk about luck.

Tell me which courts Favor Nadal apart from CLAY?

Put him in Borg's and Mcenroe's era or put him in Sampras era he wouldn't make it 10+ slams.

Oh look, another redudant Fedal dick measuring contest. :bebored:

As for today, Murray needs to dispatch Istomin ASAP. Assuming everything goes as it should, he'll face Berdych in the quarters which he always finds tough for some reason. Then potentially Djokovic and Nadal. He needs as much energy saved as possible.

I imagine Djokovic will steamroll Granollers - I can't imagine him putting up much of a fight after three 5 setters. Djokovic has a joke draw until the semis in all honesty with Delpo out.

Really he played 3 5set matches? Impressive regardless of the opponent.

Who would beat Nadal tell me. In any era Nadal would be the best on clay.

Of course he would be the best on clay, but if you put him in say the 90s era, he wouldn't have won 8 RGs. Maybe 5-6, but not 8 as 90s had an abundance of great clay courters like Kuerten, Courier, Brugnera, Muster, Kafelnikov, Gomez and others.

The majority of the courts play slow and similar to each other, so the element of adaptivity is no longer that difficult. Nadal can play his natural clay court on any court and still win. That wouldn't happen in any other era but this homogenised one.

I highly doubt they'd do anything to Nadal.

Well Nadal is not playing any clay court game yet he's been far more aggressive and has adapted on the fastest courts on tour nicely.

Nadal is not some God on clay. Like Nole said all the way back in 2006, that Nadal is the best on clay but is not unbeatable. A clay court specialist could get hot and beat Nadal at least once at RG. It took an amatuer era from a hard court specialist this year for Nadal to come out on top. And a grass court specialist could also have beat him, if he was a bit more tough mentally, so why can't a clay courter beat him?

You only started watching tennis this year by the looks of it.

Roger1 "You cannot be serious"

Correction it was in 2009 when he said it not 2006. Again they'd probably beat him in best of 3 but not in best of 5 on clay. Mission Impossible in my opinion.

So Nadal is unbeatable on clay? Seriously, some of you Nadal fans are the most delusional, full of hate people that I've ever had the misfortune of coming across in my entire life.

Your guy would be in a wheelchair by 32 or probably be busted for PEDs.

Your guy would be in a wheelchair by 32 or properly be busted for PEDs.

It goes without saying that until his failed a drug test you cannot accuse him for anything to do with drugs. Also you think Nadal fans are delusional same could be said about some of you "Monfools", Worst people ever who deliver personal attacks on other fanbases other there.

By the age of 32 Rafa would have accumulated enough grand slams to eclipse Roger.

Keep dreaming Nadaltard.

Most Roger fans or fanbase of any other player respect other players and their game. Only 1 in 4 are idiots, but with Nadal fanbase, it's 3 in every 4, who go on to attack other player for his achievements and calling them a weak era champion in Federer's case or PEDs in Nole's case and I guess you are one of those idiots.

I don't believe there is a definite GOAT. You can't compare eras as Federer said in his interview after winning WImbledon last year.
