Chain rule is alright I'll admit, everything else, nah. I don't like algebra really.

Trig isn't actually any harder than C2, its just the introduction to the unnecessary functions. Apparently they're major in C4

I disagree :tongue:

But like how are the inverse trig functions actually useful? Just makes everything longer

Mathmo is someone doing maths at Cambridge :wink:

Inverse trig? Like arctan(x)? Or 1/tan(x)?

They'll help to answer questions :colone:

I thought you were :tongue:

Cot(x). Wtf is arctan?

Nope!:eek: never ever ever!

Arctan is basically...

tan(x) = 4
x = arctan(4)

So you've used them before, just written it as tan^-1 etc

Lol because chemistry is way better!!!

For a second I thought you did some weird logging

I always say "tan to the minus 1" :rofl:

It is :colone: I'm only doing Ionic Equations now but I'm loving it :tongue:

:nah: see it is confusing because if you think "tan(x) to the minus 1" it'd be "1/tan(x)" but that's cot!:rofl:

Ahh, back when chemistry was that simple :tongue:

Nah, I mean like "tan to the minus 1 of x" just like I'd say "f to the minus 1 of x" for inverse functions
Does A level Geography have any scientific elements in it at all? It's accepted as a science for so many biology courses :tongue: Many also accept ICT as a science, which annoys the hell out of me!

:mmm: I can't wait for it to get hard! Although yesterday, balancing Aluminium Hydroxide + Sulphuric Acid was so irritating :colondollar:

Geography is quite scientific, like plate tectonics lets say... They identify things with gravity anomalies, thermal hot spots etc

I found unit 1 harder than unit 2 tbh :colondollar:

2Al(OH)3 + 3H2SO4 -> Al2(SO4)3 + 6H2O

That's okay then! :tongue: really wish I'd taken it instead of chemistry :frown:

It's actually really grown on me, I didn't like it when I did it in year 10, but I've learnt to appreciate it this year :tongue:

Deal, I think I'll do Wuthering Heights considering there's a lot to get through :wink:
