No, I'm afraid not. But there's someone else on this thread who's going to be catered at James . Yep I've got one and that's what I'm planning to do. I don't expect to be able to fit in all of the events they've got planned for us! How are you feeling about moving in?
I'm looking forward to it, but as it's getting closer I'm getting nervous about drinking and clubbing. I'm hoping I find people that don't want to do all of the planned evening events and who want to do other things instead. How are you feeling about it all?
I'm in James College and catered too - which block and house are you in? I'm going to buy a wristband and like you, decide which ones to go to and hope for alternative evening events that aren't clubbing, and the societies of course
I'm in block C, you? Hopefully the alternative evening events will be good and there'll be lots of people that go to them.
I have been sitting in my bedroom for a few hours now while my flatmates are having a flat party with blasting music. I don't even think they know i'm in here lol. I don't think i'm alone though one of my other flatmates is in his room as well with one of his mates over. They're all going clubbing soon so i'll be so happy when they get the **** out of here.

Ahh cool, I'm in block B so I think we'll be quite living quite near each other! I'm hoping so too, have you any idea what they are? Presumably the freshers ticket involves the alternative events as well? The only one during the week that I'm considering going to is the James Bond Casino night, what about you? Btw, nice to know that there is someone else in James!
OMG meee! I literally just came across this page today and have been thinking for ages is there anyone here who doesn't drink!? Everyone seems to just be going crazy every night... :L I'm on the ground floor and every night all I can here is rowdy drunkards outside, I'm struggling to sleep much...
I've posted on this thread for the last week and was seriously worried that no-one from exeter falmouth was gonna reply so its a relief that someone finally has. And I know what you mean, yesterday my flat got proper drunk and it felt really awkward, I had like one drink just to try and be sociable. But hey, now we can set up our own little non-drinking huddle!
Unfortunately I have got to go home this weekend to pick up stuff for my room (realised I left a lot) but if I see you today hello and I will make sure to come a find you on Monday when I am back.
If you wanna come round I'm in flat I Block 1 in Glasney Parc, But I will be going home about 3 o'clock today.
If I see you today, that would be cool. But then I will be back on Monday so we can Jam then. Thanks for listening to my Essay
Same here, I look forward to meeting you! Do you have facebook by the way, I'd love to chat sometime to break the ice a bit more, I'm not very good at meeting new people

Yeah, I've had a total if one drink since I moved in on Saturday but only to be sociable really! That's okay, I've been quite busy today with welcome lectures etc so it's not been too bad. Got a feeling I'll be having a quiet weekend then Yes, we'll have to meet up Monday or something, do you have Facebook? Might make things easier
I've been sat in my room for a day now. I'm extremely shy and I don't drink. Some flatmates knocked on my door yesterday, planning to go partying...I couldn't find the courage to answer so I just pretended I didn't hear. Pretty sure nobody even knows I've moved in yet. I haven't actually spoken to a single person besides my brother, who's also a fresher here. I helped a few people move in by holding doors but after all the parents left, I couldn't get the courage to go out and introduce myself.

Extons, I'm sure with an university that prestigious; there will be people who are not drinking at all . There will be events scattered around the University and other non drinking events such as Fresher's Fair .
