Awesome :-) If only my school was that good for top pupils. While I am doing GCSE italian I'd much rather do AS French early. Do universities even care that much?

Oui! Mais lorsque je fais des erreurs, pouvez-vous les "correcter"? Merci.

About early A Levels. I was told that universities completely ignore it. One even told me that if you did AS Maths in Year 11, universities acted like you didn't have it, so it would be impossible to be accepted for a Maths degree! This seems utterly absurd.

It's actually quite true... It's more of a hassle to do just an AS.

The verb is *Corriger in French. :smile:
Et tu peux te reférer à moi en tant que "tu", tu sais.

Oui, avec plaisure (<- franglish :teehee:).

Merci, je le me rappellerai!

D'accord :tongue:

Finalement, j'ai fini tous mes devoirs...

Comment on dit: "I haven't spoken to you in ages"

It's not in the right order: "me" should come before "le" -> "Je me le rappelerai". :smile:

Et bien, moi, je n'ai pas fini mes devoirs... :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:

I'd say "Ça fait des siècles que je ne t'ai pas parlé." :smile:

Hey, what's with the angry emoticon? Hope it's not directed at me.
Um, yeah, siècles... C'est une expression courante avec ce mot. :smile:

Siècles = Centuries.
Un siècle = A century.
But in this case it means 'ages'. :smile:

Aah. :smile:

I'd add "à" -> moi-même".
Really worried I have made the wrong choice about doing French at A Level. I am worried about the listening and speaking.

Speaking is 40% of the grade. You'll build it up and practising will help. French and Chemistry are my favourite.
