Anyone going for International Relations?

Hey, I'm applying for straight History. I considered I.R and History, but struggled to maintain equal weighting for both in my P.S.

Wow! That's a long time!!

I applied early October and heard back sometime late March. They also send everyone around 700 "we are still carefully considering your application" emails .

Actuarial Science is quite competitive btw, but the Stats department is not as bad as the Econ or Maths departments with offers (from my vast knowledge of my offer and 3 other people I know ).

Good luck!

5% chance lol? Especially since I have a combination of American and British qualifications...

Oh and how long do they usually take to reply?

5% is not too competitive for LSE. Most offers are out in the spring.

For straight economics at LSE how much do they care about ums? I'm post a level and have 3A*s 1A (and 5As at AS) but ums is around 86%

Posted from TSR Mobile

They probably won't care about AS UMS as you've already gotten the A*s.

They're likely to look at your A2 UMS more than your AS UMS.

Added myself . When are you guys applying? Or have you already applied?

I know what you mean! Make sure you try and copy+paste it into UCAS to check whether you have characters/lines left because the formatting is different from Word.

Competition this year is so fierce... The stalking page had less than 10 posts, and everyone has at least 2A* predictions for A2 wahh -____-
Other choices: UCL, Leeds (hometown!), Leicester and Nottingham trent as my insurance.
